Vasco Brondi, born on February 1, 1984, in Verona, Italy, is an Italian singer-songwriter. He started his music career in 2007 with the indie project Le Luci della Centrale Elettrica. The debut album, Canzoni da spiaggia deturpata, was released in 2008 under Tempesta Dischi and won the Targa Tenco for best debut. Brondi published his first book, Cosa racconteremo di questi cazzo di anni zero, in 2009. The project gained prominence through touring and collaborations with notable artists. Subsequent albums included Per ora noi la chiameremo felicità (2010) and the EP C’eravamo abbastanza amati (2011). In 2014, their album Costellazioni reached number two on the Italian charts. Brondi co-wrote Jovanotti's hit "L’estate addosso" in 2015. After ending Le Luci della Centrale Elettrica in 2018, he released his studio album, Paesaggio dopo la battaglia, in 2021.
