New single 'More To Come' out March 7
Fingerless have been sitting down at the musical banquet since 2009, sampling very small plates of acid-folk in oyster sauce, deep-fried rock ‘n’ roll, steamy ambient soundscapes with chilli, dried and salted neo-psychedelia, and fresh electronica with lime. Washing all of that down with an ice cold medieval folk ballad and maybe a sweet dungeon-synth liqueur or two, the Meanjin/Brisbane based band can’t quite put their finger on their favourite flavour just yet.
Helpfully, the band has prepared a few 'tasting guides' in the form of four albums (5:18, Organ Control, Outhere and Life, Death, and Prizes), an EP (Does It Really Though?), and a smorgasbord of singles.
But wait a second. Stop chewing. Hold on just a flame-grilled minute! A new tasting guide has just been announced! This must be it, the hotly anticipated new single, fresh from the oven. There are some words here, baked right into the crust!: ‘No Words Can Reach It’ releases May 23rd through 4000 Records.
Better get into this while it’s hot.
Bon appetit!
