Ezio Bosso, born September 13, 1971, in Turin, Italy, was a pianist who began playing music before age four. He studied at the Turin Conservatorium and joined the band Statuto at 14. Bosso's career as a double bass and piano soloist started in France at 16. He collaborated with orchestras, including the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and transitioned to classical composition and conducting. His film scores include Un amore (1999) and Io non ho paura (2003). In 2015, Bosso released his solo studio album The 12th Room, which peaked at number 3 on the Italian FIMI albums chart. Despite living with a neurodegenerative syndrome since 2011, he continued composing and conducting until his death in Bologna on May 14, 2020.
