Alejandro Otaola, born on August 30, 1972, in Guadalajara, Mexico, is a Mexican guitarist and composer. He joined Santa Sabina in 1994, contributing to albums like De la Raza pa'la Raza and MTV Unplugged. In 1998, Otaola integrated into the rock group La Barranca, releasing albums like Denzura and Cielo Protector before separating from them in 2007. That same year, he released his debut multimedia solo work, Fractales. He was invited to the XV Festival Internacional de Video Arte in Casablanca, Morocco, in 2008. He is the first Mexican guitarist whose music was included in the CD-sampler of the Spanish magazine 'Guitarra Total'. Otaola has also been part of San Pascualito Rey, contributing to Valiente, and the band Cuca, contributing to La venganza de cucamonga. His collaborations include work with Cecilia Toussaint, Panteón Rococó, and Zoe.
