Teus Nobel was born in 1982 and is a Dutch jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player. He studied classical music and jazz at Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2006 and a master's degree with a research project on the legacy of Woody Shaw. His early career included performances with the Rotterdam Ska Jazz Foundation and tours with Caro Emerald and The Kyteman Orchestra. In 2019, Nobel released the album Journey of Man. He collaborated with Jef Neve on "Spirit Control" (2017) and "Mysterium" (2020). He won an Edison Award in 2020 for the album Saudade, a collaboration with Roeland Jacobs.
