Anna Clementi, daughter of composer Aldo Clementi and opera singer Anna Ohlin, is an Italian-Swedish singer and actress. She studied flute at the Perugia Conservatory and drama at the Centro Sperimentale del Teatro in Rome. In 1985, she moved to Berlin and joined Dieter Schnebel's ensemble Die Maulwerker, studying experimental vocal music and jazz singing. Clementi is recognized as a leading interpreter of contemporary compositions and has performed works by Schnebel and John Cage worldwide. In 1990, she formed the duo Alliin Gäa with singer Gisburg. Her work spans a variety of genres, including jazz, free improvisation, performance art, electronic music, and cabaret. Her discography includes the album Love Is A Reason (2005), the single An Occasional Man (2005), and Fräulein Annie (2012).
