Sikh, a French nu metal band originating from Cannes, was formed in 2001 by guitarists Charles and Nico. The duo quickly added a drummer, who was replaced by Gaël in 2002. Sikh began performing in local venues and their debut album, Sikh, was released in 2005, featuring ten tracks including the instrumental "Choirs" and the longest track of the album, "Kallaghan V1.02". The band's second album, One More Piece, was released in 2007, under the label Dirty8, and included eleven songs such as "Slave of the 70s (Whisky)". Sikh toured extensively between 2008 and 2009 with notable acts like The Haunted and Black Bomb A. However, the band disbanded in 2010, with members pursuing individual projects.
