Kliché was a Danish rock band formed in Aarhus in 1977 by Anders Brill, Lars H.U.G., Jens Valo, and Johannes Voss. The group met while studying at the Aarhus Art Academy and was known for their unique avant-garde and postmodern style. Their debut single "Militskvinder" / "Farvel" was released in 1979. In 1980, Kliché released their first album, Supertanker, which featured the politically charged song "Masselinjen". The band effectively disbanded in 1985 when Lars H.U.G. left to pursue a solo career. A compilation album, De Samlede Klichéer, was released in 2010, reaching number 26 on the Danish Albums Chart.
