David Kollar, born on October 25, 1983, in Prešov, Slovakia, is an experimental guitarist and composer. He began his musical journey with acoustic guitar lessons during childhood and later studied at a jazz school in Prešov under the mentorship of Andrej Šeban. His solo debut album Film Soundtracks and Ideas was released in 2010, followed by notable works such as Notes From the Underground (2017) and Sculpting in Time (2019). Kollar has received multiple awards, including the Radio Head Awards in 2019 and 2020.
