Hidden Intent, an Australian groove and thrash metal from Adelaide, was formed in 2011 by bassist and singer Chris McEwen and guitarist Phil Bennett. The band released their first EP Demo 2012 in 2012. Their debut album, Walking through Hell was released in 2013, followed by Fear, Prey, Demise in 2018. Their third album Dead End Destiny was released in 2021, featuring the singles "Pub Feed" and "Breaking Point". Hidden Intent has performed at various festivals including the New Dead Metalfest in Adelaide and the Bangkok Thrash Festival. They have also toured extensively through Australia, Southeast Asia, China, and New Zealand, sharing stages with bands like Psycroptic, Ne Obliviscaris, Helloween, Toxic Holocaust, and Skeletonwitch.
