Prag is a German pop‑rock band from Berlin, founded in 2012 by Erik Lautenschläger and Tom Krimi, with the later addition of Nora Tschirner. The band's debut album, Premiere, was released in 2013 on their own label, Týnská Records, featuring orchestral accompaniment from the Prague orchestra, which inspired the band’s name. In 2015, the band released their second album, Kein Abschied, recorded with the Sinfonietta Cracovia orchestra in Poland, and the same year, Nora Tschirner departed. The following year, Es war nicht so gemeint, released in 2017, with vocalist Josephin Busch joining the supporting tour and later contributing to the 2020 album Zu Dritt. The group’s early singles, including "Sophie Marceau" and "All die Narben", established a presence in the German pop scene, while their collaborations with orchestras and vocalists expanded their musical palette.
