Country singer-songwriter and musician Jesse Howard was born in Willard, Ohio on October 3, 1986. He grew up surrounded by music, learning rhythm early by playing drums in his father’s band before eventually stepping into the spotlight as a songwriter and vocalist. His early musical influences include Travis Tritt, Garth Brooks, Tracy Lawrence, and other country music superstars of the 1990s. Jesse Howard then began to blend his beloved country music with Southern hip hop and helped to lay the groundwork for the Outlaw Nation movement. Collaborating with like-minded artist Nu Breed, they issued a series of classic tracks including “Welcome to My House,” “Only If I Could,” and “Land of the Lost.” In 2021, Jesse Howard and Nu Breed released Outlaw Nation, Vol. 1, cementing his reputation as a leading voice outside the Nashville mainstream. Following the success of the first volume, Jesse Howard continued expanding the series with Outlaw Nation, Vol. 2 and Outlaw Nation, Vol. 3, reinforcing his presence as a consistent and prolific independent artist while deepening the project’s themes of personal struggle, independence, and family values. Alongside the albums, a steady stream of singles—including “A Few That I Can Call,” “Heaven or Hell,” and “Our Best Times”—showcases his ability to balance personal storytelling with anthemic hooks, forming a growing body of work built largely outside the Nashville system.
