Pit et Rik, a musical and comedic duo, was composed of Michel Saillard (Rik), born in 1945 in Argenteuil, France, and Frédéric Bodson (Pit), born on September 12, 1948, in Liège, Belgium. Initially animators at vacation villages, they began performing in Parisian cafés-théâtres, including Mama du Marais and Théâtre Edgar. Their breakthrough came when Stéphane Collaro discovered them on Europe 1, leading to their participation in Co-Co Boy and later Cocoricocoboy, where Michel Saillard also contributed as an author from 1981 to 1993. In 1981, they released La Cicrane et la Froumi, which sold nearly two million copies. Their music, composed by Jean-Claude Cosson, Michel Héron, and Michel Saillard, gained significant popularity in the 1980s, with appearances at Olympia, Bobino, and various television shows. Frédéric Bodson continued his acting career until his death on November 29, 2018, while Michel Saillard became a theater professor in Montpellier and Paris.
