The Poxrucker Sisters, consisting of Stefanie, born in 1988, Christina, born in 1990, and Magdalena Poxrucker, born in 1995, are an Austrian women's band known for their dialect pop music in the Mühlviertler dialect. Formed in 2008 in St. Ulrich im Mühlkreis, Austria, their early influences include family singing and music school training, and they began performing publicly from a young age. Their breakthrough came in 2014 when their self-titled debut album Poxrucker Sisters reached number 7 on the Austrian Album Charts. The album included the single "Glick", which entered the Ö3 Austria Top 40 at number 62. Over the years, they released several albums including Drah di! (2015), In olle Foarbn (2017), Live im Advent (2020), and Horizont (2021). Notable achievements include winning the Amadeus Austrian Music Award for Songwriter of the Year for the single "Sie" in 2023. Their tradition of performing barefoot inspired the name of their label, Barfuß records.
