Erika Alcocer Luna, born on July 19, 1974, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, is a singer. She began her musical journey at age 14 with vocal lessons and later became the lead vocalist of a local band. In 2003, Alcocer gained national recognition by winning the second season of La Academia, a reality TV show on TV Azteca. Her victory led to the release of her debut album, Devuélveme la Vida, under Warner Music México. The album featured the title track "Devuélveme la Vida" and a duet with Yahir titled "El Alma en Pie," selling over 75,000 copies in Mexico. Alcocer also participated in various television programs and theatrical productions. In 2018, she returned to the music scene by participating in La Voz México.
