Mobile, a Canadian alternative rock band from Montreal, was formed in 2005 by Mathieu Joly (vocals), Christian Brais (guitar), Pierre-Marc Hamelin (drums), Dominic Viola (bass), and Frank Williamson (guitar). The band's origins trace back to 2000 when Dominic Viola joined Moonraker. After signing with Universal Music Group Canada and Interscope in 2005, the band changed their name to Mobile. Their debut album, Tomorrow Starts Today, was released in 2006. The album featured notable tracks such as "Out of My Head" and "Tomorrow Starts Today". Mobile won the 2007 Juno Award for New Group of the Year. Their second album, Tales from the City, was released in 2008. The band disbanded on March 23, 2011. In the early 2020s, Mobile reformed and released their third album, Roadmap to Redemption, in 2023.
