Miu Sakamoto, born 1 May 1980 in Japan, is a singer whose career spans electronic and pop styles. Raised in a musically prominent family, she released her debut mini-album aquascape on 26 November 1998, followed by the singles “Tetsudōin” on 21 April 1999 and “in aquascape” on 8 September 1999. Her first full-length album DAWN PINK was issued on 29 September 1999. The 2000s saw a steady output including "The Never Ending Story"(15 November 2005), Harmonious (24 May 2006), Zoy (5 November 2008), and PHANTOM Girl (19 May 2010). In 2011, she released HATSUKOI, and a best-of compilation miusic ~The best of 1997–2012~ appeared on 26 June 2013. She continued with releases such as Sing with me (22 June 2016) and Sing with me II (7 December 2016). Throughout her career, Miu Sakamoto has collaborated with producers including The Shanghai Restoration Project.
