Camille Berthollet, born into a family of musicians in Annecy on January 4, 1999, learned to play the cello at the age of four and then the violin After a number of successes in international competitions, she was revealed by the TV show Prodiges, which she won in December 2014 at the age of sixteen. The recording contract that followed opened with a first recital entitled Camille, certified a gold disc a few months after its release in October 2015. Camille Berthollet was then nominated at the Victoires de la musique classique awards in the revelation category. A year later, a new recording credited as a duo with her sister was released: Camille & Julie Berthollet. This included contributions from Thomas Dutronc and short pieces from the classical repertoire. The duo continued with the thematic albums Entre 2 (2018), Séries (2021) and Dans Nos Yeux (2023), all of which met with widespread acclaim. In 2024, with her sister suffering from several exhaustion and anxiety-related disorders, Camille Berthollet pursued her solo career, recording an album devoted to traditional, popular and modern Celtic tunes, Legends (2025), featuring adaptations of songs by The Corrs, Sting, Louise Attaque, U2, The Cranberries, The Pogues and Enya.
