Anett Kölpin (born December 6, 1963, in Greifswald) is a German rock singer and pianist. She sang in choirs and received piano training during her youth before studying vocal performance from 1982 to 1986. During her studies, Kölpin performed with amateur bands and won an award at the 1984 Nachwuchsfestival Goldener Rathausmann in Dresden. In 1987, she joined the group Datzu as a successor to Anke Schenker. Kölpin remained a permanent member until the band dissolved in 1990, recording the 1988 album Bist du noch wach?. Following a hiatus working as a television moderator for ORB, Kölpin returned to music in 1996 to compete in the German Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection with the song “Für Dich... mein Kind”. Her discography also includes the 2007 compilation 40 Jahre Amiga - Box 1 - Datzu.
