Marc Perrenoud, born in 1981 in Berlin, is a Swiss jazz pianist and composer. He began playing the piano at age six and studied classical piano at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève until 2001. His initial breakthrough came with the release of Stream Out (2006), a collaborative album with French drummer Sylvain Ghio. In 2008, Perrenoud formed a trio with Cyril Régamey and Marco Müller, performing over 300 concerts worldwide and releasing several albums including Nature Boy (2016). He has won several awards including the Award for Best Soloist at the International Bern Festival in 2006.
