Paolo Giovanni Plaza Onesa, born on October 10, 1993, in Zamboanga City, Philippines, is a Filipino singer. Encouraged by his grandmother, he began his musical journey with a band that won a local contest. Onesa's breakthrough came in 2013 when he performed "Skyfall" on the first season of The Voice of the Philippines, earning him a record deal with MCA Music. His live performance went viral and charted at Number 1 spot on iTunes within 24 hours. Onesa advanced to the semi-finals under coach Bamboo Mañalac's team. In 2014, he released his debut album Pop Goes Standards, which included the singles "Lucky in Love" and "Which Way, Robert Frost?". The former earned him two Awit Awards: Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist and Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist. Onesa later signed with HomeWorkz under Jay R Sillona and released his second album Handwritten in 2016.
