LEFTI is a project by producer Alex Suarez (Brooklyn, NY) and yes, he is left handed. While pursuing a path in Culinary Arts, Alex had become a touring musician which had eventually bloomed into DJing, songwriting and producing. Hitting the ground running as LEFTI, he came out of the gate with a steady stream of remixes and originals. He has original music released with Toolroom, Nervous, Freakin909, Love & Other and Let There Be House, Altra Moda, to name a few, as well as remixes with Atlantic, Warner, Ultra, Island and Universal. In 2021, LEFTI started Quincy Boy Records, which hosts a lot of his own releases along with a growing community of incredible talent.
LEFTI's music has been received in high regard by the DJ community and has been supported by top tier names like Fatboy Slim, Calvin Harris, Disclosure, Claptone, Dombresky, Don Diablo, Earth N Days, CID, Annie Mac, Anna Lunoe, Weiss, Mark Knight, Todd Edwards, Infected Mushroom, Mat.Joe, Yuksek and Horse Meat Disco (to name a few) + world wide radio and taste maker DJ's who have been spreading his sound including countless plays on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM.
Headling gigs in various cities around North America, including headlining at the Kings Hall at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn, NY and the Raw Cuts filmed series, LEFTI has also played along names such as MK, Armand Van Helden, Dombresky, Low Steppa, Lee Foss, Jonas Blue, Wax Motif, Ben Hemsley, The Magician, Jaguar and Tommie Sunshine.
