Anton Maiden, born Per Anton Gustafsson on February 24, 1980 in Kinna, Västergötland, Sweden, was a singer known for his unique interpretations of Iron Maiden songs. He began his music career by sharing MIDI format covers with a small group of friends. Encouraged by their positive feedback, Gustafsson released Anton Maiden in 1998, followed by Anton Gustavsson tolkar Iron Maiden in 1999 through Lunacy Records, which featured his distinctive renditions of Iron Maiden's hits, gaining him minor internet fame. Despite the initial success, Gustafsson struggled with depression and tragically took his own life on November 1, 2003.
