Identi-Kit was an Argentinian rock and new wave band formed in Rosario in 1984 by Claudio Mottura, Ricardo Vilaseca, Mario "Pájaro" Gómez, Jorge Risso, and Sergio Rivas. Their debut album, Identi-Kit, was released on January 1, 1986, under EMI, and gained attention with the hit single "Varias horas soñando", which received daily airplay on the Rock & Pop radio station. The band recorded their second album, Quiero parar de caer (1988), in November 1987, following Vilaseca's departure. Gómez and Risso left the group in 1988 to form the band Vilma Palma e Vampiros, while Mottura and Rivas reformed Identi-Kit with new musicians in 1993 to record the album Fanático. The band went on hiatus but returned to perform in 2011 under the name Los Idénticos (or Idénticos). In 2023, they returned as Identi-Kit with original members Mottura, Rivas, and Risso, performing a show at the Espacio Cultural Universitario in Rosario and receiving recognition from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario and the Concejo Deliberante of Rosario.
