David P. Madson, known professionally as Odd Nosdam, was born in 1976 and is an American DJ and hip hop producer from Cincinnati, Ohio. He gained initial recognition through his production work on cLOUDDEAD, the debut album released by cLOUDDEAD in 2001, which featured collaborations with Yoni Wolf of Why? and Doseone. Nosdam's solo career began with the self-released cassette Anecdoticselfportrait in 1998, followed by several notable albums like Plan9...Meat Your Hypnotis. (2002) and No More Wig for Ohio (2003). He co-founded Anticon Records. Notable collaborations include In the Shadow of the Living Room with Yoni Wolf under the name Reaching Quiet in 2002, and Burner (2005), which featured contributions from Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason of múm and Jessica Bailiff.
