Trio EDF, also known as Trio Ewen Delahaye Favennec, was formed in 1999 by three Breton musicians: Patrick Ewen, Gérard Delahaye, and Melaine Favennec. The trio met in the early 1970s and collaborated within the musical cooperative Névénoé from 1973 to 1979. They pursued solo careers before reuniting for a concert that led to the formation of Trio EDF. The group performs folk music, blending French chanson, Breton and Celtic traditions, American folk, blues, and rock. Their discography includes albums such as Kan Tri (2003), Tri Men (2007), and Kan Tri Men (2011).
