Congratulations is a British alternative/indie rock band from Brighton. Formed in 2021, it features singer Leah Stanhope, guitarist Jamie Chellar, bassist Greg Burns and drummer James Gillingham. In the tradition of art-rock bands, Congratulations play with labels and multiply their influences from post-punk to synthpop, dance-punk and other derivations. Adept at colorful outfits and angular guitar riffs, Congratulations made a name for themselves with their first single, "Junk" (2023), followed by the EPs Whoo Hoo and Slap, released on the Bella Union label. Following other titles such as "Ice Tea", "Get 2 Me" and "This Life", the quartet released their debut album, Join Hands, in February 2026, reaching No. 33 in the UK download charts.
