Cassis, a Brazilian pop rock band originally known as K-Sis, was formed in 2003 in Minas Gerais by identical twin sisters Keyla and Kenya Boaventura. The duo's music career began with their debut album K-Sis, released in 2005, under EMI International. The album featured notable singles such as "Tem Dias" and "Beijos, Blues e Poesia." In 2006, Keyla and Kenya Boaventura became VJs on MTV Brasil, further boosting their visibility. Their second album, Amores Cruzados, was released in 2007. The band later rebranded as Cassis and released singles like "Contato" and "Mapa Astral."
