Kathrin Andrée, born in 1948 in Oberlungwitz, Germany, is a German musician known for her contributions to pop music. She began her career as part of the duo Daisy und Ten with her husband Klaus Sommer, releasing their first single "Grüner Klee – weißer Schnee" ("Green Clover - White Snow") in 1967. The duo later rebranded as Kathrin und Klaus, continuing to release music together. Andrée transitioned into a solo career, releasing several albums and singles, notably "Ciao Mama" in 1980. She also appeared frequently on East German television shows. After the political changes in Germany, Andrée took a break from performing to retrain as an office clerk but later returned to music with live performances in the Berlin area.
