Some Velvet Morning is an English rock band formed in London in 2000 by vocalist and guitarist Desmond Lambert, drummer Rob Flanagan, and bassist and vocalist Gavin Lambert. The trio began performing at venues such as The Rock Garden and the Cavern Club, releasing the single "Don't Think" in 2011 under My Major Company. Their debut studio album, Silence Will Kill You, was released on October 9, 2007 through Rhythmbank Entertainment, and featured the tracks "Losing My Mind" and "Godless". The album garnered support from BBC Radio 2 and Radio X. In 2012, they released their second album, Allies, with the song "How to Start a Revolution" later featured in a Renault advertising campaign. The band followed with the album Musical Chairs (2016), a compilation of their monthly singles, and Rough Seas, released on March 12, 2021. The latter album was executive produced by Rik Simpson and mastered by Emily Lazar. Their songs appeared in various film and television projects, including "Good to See You" in the BBC's coverage of the UEFA Euro 2020.
