Ádammo, a Peruvian power pop band formed in 2007, was composed of Ezio Oliva (vocals), Renzo Bravo (bass and backing vocals), and Diego Ubierna (acoustic guitar). The group gained initial recognition by winning the "Bandas de Garaje" contest organized by Studio 92. Their breakthrough came with the release of their album, Sin miedo, in 2009, produced by Francisco Murias. The band gained recognition in 2009, when their hit single, "En tus sueño", Number 1 on the MTV Los 100 + pedidos del 2009 chart, and they won Best New Artist at the MTV Latin America Awards in October 2009. Their success continued in February 2010, when they opened for Beyoncé. Ádammo released two more albums, Ámber in 2010 and Tiempos violentos in 2012, before disbanding in 2013.
