Premier-Ministr, a Russian boy band formed in 1997, initially consisted of four members who aimed to create music appealing beyond teenage audiences. Their breakthrough came in 2000 with the remake of "Oriental Song," a popular Russian tune. The group's first album, Грязные танцы, was released in 1999, followed by Поход на восток in 2001. In 2001, Dmitry Lanskoy left the band for a solo career and was replaced. Premier-Ministr represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with "Northern Girl." In 2005, Premier-Ministr split from their producer and continued independently as Group PM.
