Robert Kempe, known as Robby Valentine, was born on December 4, 1968, in Leusden, Netherlands. He started his music career in the late 1980s with the symphonic rock band Line. In 1989, he joined Zinatra, contributing to their album The Great Escape. Valentine's solo career began in 1992 with his self-titled debut album, featuring the hit single "Over And Over Again". His subsequent albums include The Magic Infinity (1993) and Valentine (1995). In 1997, he released 4 - United, marking a shift towards pop and classical elements. Valentine's music gained significant popularity in Japan, leading to the release of several albums there, including No Sugar Added (1998) and Believing Is Seeing (2000).
