AWS, a Hungarian metal and post-hardcore band, was formed in 2006 in Budakeszi, Hungary by Bence Brucker, Dániel Kökényes, Örs Siklósi, and Áron Veress. The group initially played in underground bands Konnektor and Conquistador before forming AWS. Their debut album Fata Morgana was released in 2011, followed by Égésföld in 2014 and Kint a vízből in 2016. In 2018, AWS won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with "Viszlát nyár" and represented Hungary at the contest, finishing 21st. The band released their fourth studio album Fekete részem in the same year. In 2019, they collaborated with Romanian hip-hop duo USNK on the song "Idő". Tragically, lead singer Örs Siklósi passed away in February 2021 due to leukemia. AWS continued with new frontman Támás Stefán and released their fifth studio album Innen szép nyerni in 2024.
