Flipp, an American rock band, was formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1994 by singer/guitarist/producer Brynn Arens. The band's initial breakthrough came with a cover of "My Generation" by The Who, which won MTV's Warming Up the Zombie contest and secured them a slot to open for White Zombie, The Ramones, & Misfits. Flipp released their self-titled debut album Flipp in 1997 on Hollywood Records, followed by Blow It Out Your Ass!, released in 2000 through Oarfin Records, and their third studio album, Volume, which came out in 2002 on Artemis Records. The band performed at notable events such as Edgefest, Woodstock 99, and 93XFest, known for their theatrical live shows that included stunts like dropping cereal from a helicopter and starting feather pillow fights. Flipp disbanded in 2003 but reunited in 2016 and released Too Dumb to Quit in 2022.
