Ben Edward Granfelt, born June 16, 1963, in Helsinki, Finland, is a Finnish guitarist and singer-songwriter. He began his musical journey with early collaborations including Gringos Locos and Guitar Slingers. He released the album Gringos Locos in 1987 with the band of the same name. His breakthrough came in 1993 when he formed the Ben Granfelt Band, and they toured extensively across Europe, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. They released their debut album The Truth in 1994, followed by Radio Friendly (1996), LIVE (1997), E.G.O. (1999), and All I Want to Be (2001). Granfelt also played with Wishbone Ash, Leningrad Cowboys, and Los Bastardos Finlandeses. Their subsequent albums include Melodic Relief (2012) and Live – 20th Anniversary Tour (2015).
