Eugeniusz Rudnik, was born on October 28, 1932, in Nadkole, Poland. He graduated from Warsaw University of Technology in 1967 and began his career at Polish Radio in 1955. In 1958, Eugeniusz Rudnik joined the Experimental Studio of the Polish Radio, where he worked on electronic music projects. Between 1967 and 1968, he collaborated with Włodzimierz Kotoński at Westdeutscher Rundfunk in Cologne. He composed nearly 100 works in studios across Europe, including Skalary (1966). Rudnik's work was recognized with multiple awards at the Bourges International Electroacoustic Music Competition and he received the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 2000. He passed away on October 24, 2016.
