Jed Davis, born July 7, 1975 in Farmingdale, New York, is an American musician known for his versatility as a keyboardist and singer-songwriter. As a high-school senior, Jed Davis formed the band Skyscape with Domenic Maltempi in 1991, releasing their debut CD Band Of The Week two years later. In 1995, he formed The Hanslick Rebellion, known for their intense live shows. The band released several albums and EPs, including "The Deli Of Life" in 2006. Under J-Bird Records, Davis released two solo albums: We're All Going to Jail! (1997) and Jed Davis Wastes 8 Years of His Life for Your Listening Pleasure (1999). As a pioneer of New York City's electroclash movement, Davis was the programmer for Collider, releasing albums like Blowing Shit Up (1998) and Physics (1999).
