Sébastien Guèze, a French tenor born on July 28, 1979 in Lyon, France, studied singing at the conservatory of Nîmes and earned a Master in Business at the University of Montpellier. He completed his training at the National Conservatory of Music of Paris, where he received first prize with jury congratulations. Guèze's career breakthrough came in 2006 when he won the Audience Prize and Second Prize at Plácido Domingo’s Operalia contest, and took off with his role as Rodolfo in La bohème at the National Opera of Athens in 2008. Notable recordings include Andromache (2010) and Lodoïska (2013). He has also performed at prestigious venues such as La Fenice Venezia, Semperoper Dresden, and Paris Opera Comique.
