Duivelspack, a German fun-folk trio from Detmold, was founded in 2000 by Arne Heger, Daniel Wahren, and Marcus Linnemann. The band began with interpretations of traditional and medieval songs but soon shifted to original compositions. Their debut album In drei Teufels Namen was released in 2001, followed by Margaritas ante porcos (2002) and Zwischen Himmel und Hölle (2004). Duivelspack gained significant attention with their 2007 hit "Wo bist du?", chosen as the Hit of the Year by Radio Aena listeners. In 2010, Stefan Pokroppa joined the band, replacing Marcus Linnemann. Subsequent albums include Mann sein (2014) and Weibsbilder (2016). The trio released Mythos Hildebrandslied in 2009, a musical archaeology project dedicated to the music of the Germanic tribes. Duivelspack announced their dissolution in January 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but returned with a comeback announcement in November 2023.
