KABUA is a German and latin composer who lives in Italy.
She won a scholarship and attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA), a very important experience for her artistic formation. In Boston, she becomes an official member of the Berklee Gospel Choir. Several tours follow around the world with famous Gospel groups such as: Oscar Williams, Bob Singleton, Mitty Collier.
Kabua sang with singers such as: Toni Green (Isaac Hayes background vocals), Bobby Rush (grammy artist), Latimore (Joss Stone composer), Antonia Bennett (Tony Bennet daughter).
She sang also with: Kennet Scharf (Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Mel Tormè trumpeter), Kevin Sholar (pianist Stevie Wonder)… Kabua had experiences with Italian and foreign artists and musicians from the Blues/Jazz & Soul scene…
Her music it’s inspired by several genres (Soul, Funky, Country, Dance), these moods are then transformed into Electro-Pop/Dance productions... We find vocal flavours that recall 70/80 atmospheres like Gloria Gaynor, up to to get to our days, all mixed in a contemporary sound.
