Robert Cuccioli, born on May 3, 1958, in Hempstead, New York, is an American singer and actor. He began a career Off-Broadway at the Light Opera of Manhattan in the 1980s, performing principal roles such as Count Danilo in the operetta The Merry Widow. Cuccioli's breakthrough came with his role as Lancelot du Lac in national tours of the musical Camelot in 1987. He made his Broadway debut in 1993 as Javert in the musical Les Misérables, and later gained significant recognition for originating the lead dual title roles in the musical Jekyll & Hyde. For this performance, the artist received a Tony Award nomination and won the Joseph Jefferson Award, the Outer Critics Circle Award, the Drama Desk Award, and the Fany Award. Cuccioli played Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin in the rock musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark between 2012 and 2014. He released his first solo album The Look of Love in 2012.
