Lesnah is a Guyanese artist who mainly evolves in the rap and dancehall genres, and stands out for his committed lyrics. Originally from Kourou, French Guiana, he began recording his first tracks at a young age, and soon made a name for himself as part of the Bourg Faya collective. In 2015, he released the"Nou ofon" video, a track that provoked reactions due to its explicit content, but which marked his desire to reflect the reality of Guyana's neighborhoods. After a break to focus on his studies, he made a comeback in 2016 with the more melodic track"Dream", which won him the Best Urban Discovery award at the Lindors. In 2017, he released his mixtape Karma, which combined trap and dancehall and met with some local success. More recently, Lesnah has turned his attention to drill, and continues his career with tracks like"ZOO" and his"OG Freestyle".
