Tcha Limberger, born in 1977 in Bruges, Belgium, is a gypsy musician. As a child, Limberger lost his eyesight but was introduced to music by his father, Vivi Limberger, who taught him guitar. By age six, he began performing as a flamenco guitarist and later explored New Orleans jazz on the banjo. At 13, he studied modern classical composition with Dick Vanderharst. Transitioning to violin at 17, Limberger moved to Budapest where he received instruction from Bela Horváth and Kallai Zsolt. He performed with various ensembles including the Waso Quartet and Budapest Gypsy Orchestra. Notable recordings include Standards (2010), Reizigers (2011), and I Silenti (2020). Throughout his career, he collaborated with notable artists such as Koen De Cauter, Roby Lakatos, and Biréli Lagrène, contributing to albums like DjanGo! A Tribute to Django Reinhardt – Live at the AB (2004) and Live in Foix (2017).
