The Motion Sick was an indie rock band formed in Boston around 2006. The group was featured as the band of the month in SPIN Magazine in early 2006 and were selected as the best unsigned band in Boston by radio station WFNX. They released their debut album, Her Brilliant Fifteen, in 2006, followed by The truth will catch you, just wait... in 2008. Their lead single from the second album, "30 Lives", aired on TV stations including MTV, Fuse TV, and MuchMusic. The Motion Sick won The Boston Phoenix Best Local Band honor in late 2008. The band has been on indefinite hiatus since 2010, reuniting for a one-off show in 2013.
