Aaron Heick, born September 13, 1961, in Seattle, is an American saxophonist and woodwind player. His early career involved working with Chaka Khan, whom he recorded with and toured through most of the 1990s. Heick's breakthrough moment came when he joined the CBS Orchestra for The Late Show with David Letterman. Heick has released several albums including Europe (2009) and Smooth Operator (2021). Throughout his career, he has also collaborated with a diverse range of musicians such as Richard Bona, Barbra Streisand, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Sir Elton John, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Lady Gaga, and Panic! At The Disco, among many others.
