Domine, an Italian heavy metal band, was formed in Piombino in 1983 by brothers Enrico and Riccardo Paoli. The group began releasing demo tapes in 1986 and gained attention with their debut album Champion Eternal in 1997. This album marked a significant breakthrough for Domine, who had been active in the underground scene since the mid-1980s. Notable tracks from this period include "Stormbringer (The Black Sword)", "Army of the Dead", and the progressive suite "The Eternal Champion". In 1998, keyboardist Riccardo Iacono joined the band, contributing to their second album Dragonlord (Tales of the Noble Steel), which became their most successful release in terms of sales. Domine toured extensively across Europe, playing at major festivals and opening for bands like Riot and Anvil. Their subsequent albums include Stormbringer Ruler (The Legend of the Power Supreme) (2001), Emperor of the Black Runes (2004), and Ancient Spirit Rising (2007).
