Ryszard Szeremeta is a Polish composer of experimental music, producer, and jazz singer. He studied composition at the Academy of Music in Kraków with Lucjan Kaszycki, conducting with Jerzy Katlewicz, and electronic music with Józef Patkowski at the Polish Radio Experimental Studio. Szeremeta made his compositional debut at the Warsaw Autumn International Festival in 1981. From 1976 to 1985, he was a baritone with the vocal jazz quartet Novi Singers, arranging Polish folk music, carols, and Chopin mazurkas. He directed the Polish Radio Experimental Studio from 1985 to 1998 and has also composed for electroacoustic music, film, and television.
