Martin Küchen is a Swedish jazz and improvisation musician and composer. He learned to play the flute at nine, switching to tenor saxophone at fourteen. After studying music in Skurup, he worked as a street musician until 1993. Küchen's career advanced through European circus performances from 1995 to 1997 and involvement in Sweden’s improvisational jazz scene. He formed notable ensembles like Trio Angles (later expanded) and Trespass Trio with Per Zanussi and Raymond Strid. Küchen has released albums including Homo Sacer in 2007, Küchen_Rowe_Wright in 2010, and Hellstorm in 2012. He also became a member of Mats Gustafsson's Fire! Orchestra and has collaborated with artists such as Johan Berthling and Steve Noble on the album Threnody, At The Gates (2017).
