The Ripmen, a German psychobilly band, was formed in 1996 by schoolmates Kubi, Rakow, and Marcus Wachi, who bonded over their shared interest in psychobilly music, but tragically, Wachi died in October 1999. The band quickly found a replacement drummer, Gordian, and recorded their first demo, "With Love from Beyond" (1999), at Octosound Studio in Berlin, which secured them a record deal with Crazy Love Records. Their debut album, Party with the Dead, was released in 2001 and received positive reviews. Following this success, they toured extensively and in 2003, their second album, Terror of the Beagle Boys, was released. Subsequent releases include Graveyard in Our Memories (2007) and Rott in Pieces (2009).
